Water in my car's petrol tank?

Over the last weekend I left my car unattended for a couple of hours, and people vandalized it, smashed my mirrors and poured water into my petrol tank. Now it is just standing there, and i don't know what is the best way to fix the water in petrol tank issue. It is an Opel Corse and takes unleaded petrol.

This would be a modern enough car to have a plastic petrol tank with no bung for draining. It may be possible to stick a long syphon down the filler neck and syphon out the majority of the contaminated fuel. That's only if there is no check valve in the filler neck. If there is then you will have to remove either the filler neck or the tank itself.

drain tank out and refill with fresh gas add dry gas to get rest of moisture out

fill the tank right up. if allot of water in tank you will have to drain.
