Water in my 2005 honda civic transmission, is transmission failure inevitable?

So recently my 2001 automatic transmission failed on me and our mechanic had previously found us a 2005 automatic transmission with 25k miles on it for $200. We had the transmission in our back yard under the roof and covered on top, but not on the sides so I guess when my mom and brother-in-law would clean the backyard with the hose some water got into it. Finally when my 2001 transmission failed on me we took the new transmission to the mechanic to replace it and that's when he found out that there was water in the 2005 transmission. So what he did was drain the transmission oil and put in the transmission oil from the broken transmission and drove it around a few times and then drained the transmission oil again and put in new oil, he's now requesting to keep coming back to him in hopes of draining every single drop of water from the transmission. Will my transmission break again? Thanks for your help people.

Change the trans oil again and see if there is still water in it. Honda trans are liking new oil. change oil frequently and respect the trans and it should ok.
