Hello,

so it's been awhile but I am still struggling with my acne. Stress is a huge factor and I will be posting something about that bec I need help in that area as well ..but Im thinking I should really get strict with drinking lots of water and eating lots of yogurt (i heard yogurt helps skin too).

I don't want to drown my body with water, so I want to know whats a good amount? or is there a resource that shows depending on our height/weight/age how much water we should be intaking ... also must I drink water many times in the day (I tend to forget this) or could I jus t drink large amnts like 5 times a day?

has anyone just tried this and seen success? if you havent seen success please dont be too discouraging ...its a new hope! lol

Thanks

You should drink sufficient water/fluiRAB that your urine is almost clear/pale yellow.

For the majority of people, 2 liters a day is ample, and this can inclide a few cups of tea/coffee, a glass of orange juice, or a soft drink. If you are doing hard manual labour in a hot climate, you will need alot more. You dont need to be continualy sipping water, just drink a glass several times a day, and have a drink with your meals.

You could drink gallons of water every day, and it wouldnt flush your acne out of your body, so dont go overboard on water.

Are you using benzoyl peroxide on your acne? Washing your face with a mild clenser (such as Dove) and covering with 5% Benzoyl Peroxide (Oxy5) twice a day will do your skin far more good that drinking excess water.
