Watch DVD while in Drive with Chrysler Ves?

I own a 2009 Chrysler Town & Country and it is fully loaded. It has a dvd screen in the front seat that turns off if you are not in park (for safety and legal reasons) is there a way i can hack this so that i can watch while in drive because i am going to be driving through the night to florida and frankly i think falling a sleep while driving would be more dangerous than occasionally looking at a screen to keep me awake. I dont want any of the blah blah blah its illegal stuff. Keep your shit straight
