is it normal to wash ur hands wif soap many times a day? like after eating, touching things etc....my palms are very smooth now. Whenever I go through security, they have problems detecting my finger prints.

I don't think you can scrub off your fingerprints. Thieves would all be as clean as bright shiny pennies.;)

People with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, who compulsively hand wash, may wash their hands 100+ times a day.

Dear Paxy, I agree with Aunti Leela, I think if they have a hard time with your fingerprints, its either the machine, or your fingerprints are just naturally hard to detect for some reason, not a big deal.

I too, wash my hands a lot, sometimes I wonder if its too much, but after touching food, the computer keyboard, the clicker for the TV, the garbage, or wiping of a counter, just sounds normal to me! My boyfriend says its too much, but I say thats just his opinion. I was very sick once, and didn't want it to happen again. So I became very germ conscious. Doesn't sound like a problem to me! P.S. Shout out to Auntie Leela, thanx for all your help!

Yeah it is ok to wash your hand more often. It will not affect your fingerprint. I do wash my hands fifty times a day by just touching anything outside like a leaf, or a rock. Maybe the fingerprint detecting machine is broken or malfunctioning, I think
