I have mild acne (on and off). My skin is moderately oily. I wash twice a day with water. I am thinking of washing only once now in the morning before work or shall I stick to twice?

I'd wash once a day at night with a cleanser containging salicylic acid ... then follow with a spot treatment where you need it containing benzoyl peroxide.. wash with water in the morning or a very mild cleanser...

I would say wash your face when you need to feel refreshed. When your face feels oily and you feel like your pores are clogged, then it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to at least rinse you face with cool water. Also, you can make your acne worse by washing too much. Washing too much causes your skin to dry out and then your body produces oil in overtime to try to make up for your dryness. Make sure that you use a good oil-free moisturizer after you wash your face and make sure that it has a sunscreen with at least SPF 15 (make sure that it protects against UVA and UVB) so that you don't get sunburned and dry your skin out more. I hope I helped you! Good luck!
