Washed xbox 360 Wireless Headset, Help!!!!?

I (Accidently) Washed my Xbox 360 wireless headset and it feels dry but ive had blow-drier set on cold and fans blowing on it for like 12 hours, how long should i wait to try it to see if it works, what are the chances it will work?!?! I don't have 60 dollars....well i acualy do but i dont want to buy another one......to spend and i want it to work, what are my chances??? Please HELP ME!
 
try to use it next time you get on, if it dosn't work, then do this: go to w/e shop that you wanna buy a wireless headset from, buy the headset (same headset as yours) put your headset in the box and go return it, when they ask you for the reason say "it dosnt work" =]
