washed my Palm Treo Pro?

ok so I washed my palm treo pro so I took out the battery and put the phone and battery on top of my DVR cause its usually hot to dry. after like 2 days I plugged it in to the wall and nothing really happened but the light that turns on when it connected blinks but if I take the battery out it stays on as if it were charging so does that mean something?
