My cousin recently went to the doctor before finals week. He said he didn't understand Anatomy class too well and wanted Adderall because he saw alot of kids on campus taking it when they studied for tests. So he went to the doctor and just told him he had trouble concentrating in Anatomy class and the doctor prescribed him a bottle of Adderall. I wanted to ask, is this right? All my cousin said was that he couldn't focus in a class that he finds boring to begin with. So really, its obvious he can't focus because he doesn't have much interest in the class, not that he has problems with focusing and thus needs medication for it. I need an answer from someone credible because I don't know if the doctor should be in trouble for this or not. I mean, I can understand kids getting Adderall from other kids at school, but from a doctor that easily?
Was this doctor right to prescribe Adderall?
