Hi, I was wondering something about a specific scene in the film Trick 'r' Treat. It's the one where (spoiler alert! If you haven't scene in it yet don't continue reading) Anna Paquin and her sister/friends suddenly turn into werewolves...hot ones too, LOL. Anyway, I read somewhere that the director doesn't like to use cgi in the film that much, with the exception of the school bus falling off the cliff scene. So while watching the werewolf scene where we see all the girls ripping their skin off and have fangs and wolf eyes, I sort of got the impression that maybe part of that scene was cgi-enhanced. Like, maybe the eyes on the actresses could possibly be cgi perhaps? I did like how they used practical effects when they showed the brief shots of the full werewolf (s?) which is a pretty good job animotronic effect I thought. So, does anyone agree with me that some tiny amount of cgi was used for the creepy eye effects before they fully transform? This would be for those who saw/own the film like I do of course, LOL. Also, did anyone else like the clever twist in the scene...like how they make you think that Anna Paquin was killed by the 'vampire', but it was really the vampire himself under the red hood, not to mention he wasn't really a vampire AND the principal, with the biggest twist being they were all werewolves, so the tables were turned on him? That was cool and kinda creepy, right? I'd probably say that was the best twist scene in the film! Thanks.
BTW, the scene was cool and a little creepy although they should have showed them all attacking the principal as wolves, LOL.
