please shut up about Jesus, i want INDIAN and HINDU related answers, dont bring your bias in this, i need write a paper about if the indian civilization was held together by religion, not about how much people like to argue about religon on the internet

No. There were thousands of sects and several major religions in the Indian Raj. Religion is what broke it apart, and caused the disaster zones which we call Burma, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India etc.

Yes it did, it kept Hindu people in line, they didnt want to be reborn as a street cleaners son, caste system.

idk outside of India but in India Hindu was the MAIN religion and it was most common.
