Was it wrong of me to make my wife sit in the car after her friend argued with me...

...at the bar? So the other night me and the wife were in the bar having a couple of cold beverages when her friend came up to us and asked my wife to play darts. Well like a good wife my wife asked me first and I said she could. He friend thought it was dumb that she had to ask me first. I already gave her permission yet she still thought she should yell at me for it. Well I got mad and decided since her friend couldn't mind her own business I would make my wife sit in the car the rest of the night. Did I do the right thing?
She befriended someone who couldn't keep her mouth shut. She shoulda chose her friends better.
 
Absolutely not! I blame her friend. If she would have just minded her own damn business, she wouldn't have gotten sent to the car. She's lucky you aren't abusive, because if you had hit your wife it woulda been all her fault.

If she is an adult and your wife who are you to remain in the bar while sending her to the car like she was your child?

You put her on the spot in front of her friend and she shouldn't have yelled but she is your partner not your slave. If this is how you treat her on a regular basis, don't be surprised to wake up all alone one day.

She is not your property to boss around. That is abuse.
 
As long as you brought her half finished drink out to the car for her to finish, then she should be grateful that you care so much about her happiness. lol.
 
haha, well its none of her business how your guy's marriage works so she should have kept her mouth shut. but i dont think you should have punished your wife for it.
