Was it wrong chatting to my friend who was chatting to his wife at the same time?

Hello

New member
My friend is in Afghanistan deployed and we've always been good pals. We exchange emails and do chat very once in a while.

Well, it happened today I saw him in the chat available so I sent him a message. He replied he was talking to his wife and he'll post something later. I said sorry and backed away. He left me a note saying he couldn't talked to me b/c he was tired and emailed him instead. I feel like I did something wrong b/c it was their space, still I didn't knew they were talking.

I feel bad b/c he might have thought I was wanting to chat after wards when probably he wasn't feeling good after talking to wife one day before V-Day and away. Should I contact him on chat again or just email him instead?

I have to clear up we are only friends and communications have never been other than that.

Don't send anything else...if he contacts you then let him know that you didn't mean to interrupt the last time you chatted with him.

Just write him a email saying that you hope he's doing well and has a good Valentines day eventhough he's away from his wife because she will be thinking about him too!
