Was it a mistake to tell my ex,someone just confessed to me?

Ok, so Im bi and my ex gf broke up with me couple months ago.Recently we 2 have been really talking and seem as if we got back together.Then within less than 2 days she seem cold towards me again.I cant explain why she's like that.I thought maybe she still have feelings for me.She knws that I still love her very much.And just today a girl confessed to me and I told her.She ask abt whether it was a guy/girl etc.She kept telling me congratulations and say since the girl love me I can hve that girl.I told her I only want her.But she said congatulations again and said I do not need to love the girl.To me it feels like she is pushing that girl to me.I told her because I thought she would care and be jealous.But right now her words r more hurting.I cant take it anymore.Really!Was it a mistake to hve told her?Should I hve kept it a secret and what can i do now?Since I alr said it.I regretted telling her it
My ex gf is currently dating another girl.And she knws I love her.I told my ex that the girl likes me but I dun love her.My ex is the only one that I want.She in turn told me she love her current gf.But if so..why would she contact me and expressed how intimate she wants to be with me at times.
