Limewire users: do you think it was a good idea, to shut down Limewire? I personally don't think it was IMO, I became a Rolling Stones and Beatles fan because of Limewire. I mean maybe if iTunes would put on some actual music with talent *cough* Rolling Stones, maybe I would buy from them. But I'm not. Because iTunes has the stupidest music on there, and they are expensive.
Limewire helped me a lot. I found some of my favorite songs on there. I could find half of Mariah Carey's earlier material on Limewire. iTunes didn't have it. iTunes doesn't even have the music you want sometimes.
Like they don't have any good Beatles songs on there. All they have is Justin Bieber, Chris Brown etc. No good Michael Jackson songs on there either.
I don't condone stealing but sometimes you do what you have to do to get good music. Also that ridiculous, Judge and record label who sued that poor mother in Minnesota. All she did was was download music. She didn't have the money to buy it in stores or on iTunes. Music nowadays in stores such as FYE or Amazon.com are real expensive.
If they would low the prices down maybe I'll think of buying online. Right? I mean half of today's artists don't even write their own songs or play instruments. All they do is Karaoke their songs and let the computer sing it for them.
Anybody agree? I mean it's not like the artists are loosing money anyways.
