Today, My husband and I went to Petco.
There was a Mazda CX7 parked next to us. Inside the car was an Infant and probably 5 or 6 year old child. The father got out and left the kids in the car. We returned to our car and the kids were still in there with no adult supervision.
I called first, Non-Emergency police then and they asked me to leave a message. Then I called 911.
Saying that kids were in a car all alone.
My husband yelled at me after I got of the phone and said " way to go prick! Your going to get those children taken away".
As an EMT, I have a DUTY to report anything that can cause danger.
I don't care if there are windows cracked, music on..It's wrong to leave a child all alone in the car. End of story!
Really, was I in the wrong?
