When I was really young I was diagnosed as having asthma.

I know that I am very allergic to horses, although no other animals that I know of.
I also used to have warts which the doctors have removed with the liquid burning stuff... dry ice? liquid nitrogen? i dunno.
Apparently you more likely to get warts if you had asthma.

I also was told that as a baby I would go purple and such.:confused:
Like my face I guess... strange.

I stopped the inhaler when I was like 7 or so cuz I'd probably never used it...

I never remeraber feeling asthmatic.
I wonder if I was misdiagnosed.
Is there such a thing as getting cured from asthma?

My husband had asthma for a few years as a child, and has had almost no symptoms since.

It's possible it could come back if you get a serious respiratory infection or spend a lot of time exposed to things you are allergic to or irritants such as sawdust, and if it does seek help promptly, but meanwhile I wouldn't worry.

My son had asthma as a young child. We treated it agressively and he has had no ongoing symptoms since he was in his early teens. You could go to a pulmonologist and get your lung function tested to see how you are breathing if you wanted to know more. But I do think that some people outgrow it. (I also have asthma, which was appropriately treated as a child and I have reduced lung function and must take medicine daily.) I agree with the earlier post, if you start to have symptoms though seek medical care. Don't ignore it because untreated asthma can damage your lungs.
