Was God talking to Himself in Genesis when He said "Let US make man in OUR image"?

Was He like murmuring to himself or like The Father was having coffee with the Son and the Spirit and then they decided to make man?
Jennifer, angels had NO PART in creation. Don't just say rubbish.

Let us make man in our image, precioussss... yesss...

EDIT: On a more serious note, I have a question for those who say he was using the plural-majesty deal: What possible reason could the only existing being have for using a term denoting honor or majesty when majesty lacks any discernible meaning when nothing else exists to which one may compare oneself?

He was talking to Jesus (the Word). This has to do with the universal Law of Gender (nothing to do with sex), but that it take two parts form physical substance from the spiritual realm: the will and the nurturing aspect.

I read in one of my Bibles that in Hebrew sometimes plural is used to denote more respect or honor.

Seriously jennifer, sheesh. That's annoying.

Anyway, I believe he was speaking to jesus/ holy spirit.

That would be the only explination i assume.

The plural shows respect, denotes majesty. Doesn't mean more than one.

The Quraan is the same way. God described as WE, sometimes I.
