Was George W. Bush treated fair by the media?

I think he was treated the way he treated them.

Was he that bad of a president? I think he was - he caved to whatever power had what he wanted, and he used the government for personal benefit and to settle personal vendettas. People like to accuse President Obama of using the "perks" of being President for his personal gain, but I have yet see someone die because he flew his wife to New York for a "date". President Bush wanted a war with someone over 9/11 - he chose Iraq. Thousands of this nation's young men and women died because of that personal lust for war.

I don't know what one would define as a success - since I ideologically disagreed with the man. I don't think he handled anything well - Katrina, Iraq, Afghanistan, . . . He was not a proactive leader - he was a reactive one. And that is not a good leader. He had the chance to rise up and show he had what it took numerous times, and he didn't. That is why he will not be remembered as a good president.

if anything, he was given way
too much preferential treatment,
by the right-wing media

he was the worst president
in our nation's history, period

the only successes he had
was to favor the wealthy, at
the expense of the middle,
working and poor classes of
our society

his administration was evil,
rotten and corrupt...and now,
we're having to try to save
our nation by having the right
people (dems) in office; they're
having to clean up his and his
administration's mess

so, again, he was given
way too much preferential
treatment by our right-wing
media

The hated him during the recount.. went along with everything he did after 9-11 right up till the last 2 years when the DNC money infiltrated when Obamas campaign started.. then he was the bad guy..

MSM = Hypocrisy for sale to the highest bidder.
