"Report: NASA Distorted Global-Warming Studies"
No, NASA didn't exaggerate global warming, although you have to read the article carefully to realize that. The article in the Houston Chronicle is clearer:
"Political appointees at NASA headquarters deliberately downplayed scientific evidence documenting global warming for political reasons"
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/space/5815215.html
"Distorted" is unnecessarily ambiguous. Foxnews has a history of giving global warming "skeptics" far more press than they deserve, and prominently promotes a columnist who publishes repeated denials of global warming.
A lot of people watch Foxnews. Closing your eyes to what they're saying doesn't help deal with the world.
