When I was 11 my dad put me in martial arts(Tae Kwon Do).I learned it(TKD)was mainly for kicks,so I began studying by myself (Lokking at some JKD).I then found a Hung Gar & Choy Li Fut(Sanshou) school who's lineage to Wong Fei Hung is through Buck Sam Kong.I'm 13 now.I want to be a good martial artist too.But I already train hard so.Yeah.
Sorry guys..I did quit training in TKD.it was the competition kind of fighting,so then I turned to JKD and I got into a fight(he challenged me,It was for us both to see who's skill was better and loser had to teach winner a few techniques.) with a guy who is now my friend that practices karate, I was told by my friends during the fight I was using low wider stances(Hung Kuen) and some wide circular punches(Choy Li Fut).So I found a school that taught what i was more into.So I quit studing by myself and went to a kung fu school.so I hope that ties all the loose ends.Yeah, where I live there are alot of martial artist my age.So one day we'd get told we wanted to be challenged,It happened to me alot because I'm a smaller individual but told I'm fast and explosive. But winner gets to learn some techniques and loser teaches them. Most of these secret fights where organized and select people where allowed to come(people that wont tell of the fight).
This(Above) is basically just how I got from Tkd to Kung Fu.And yes I did win.
