Warranty on a Ford CD Player?

Hi

I brought a ford focus the other day 08 model it isnt new its about a year old but I have just tryed to put a cd in the cd 6000 and it says cd cannot be read on all of them.

As the cars only a year old would this be coverd by some type of warrenty? would I just take it to my local ford or would it have to be at certain stores? I live in colchester

If the factory warranty was transferable, then yes it will be covered. The factory warranty is good for 3 years and 36,000 miles
