Warranty - How to get TX replaced?

I purchased a new TX the last day of Dec 05 from Office Depot. In mid Feb the input began to be flakey. Now, while the screen comes on and you can still navigate by the button on the bottom, the screen will accept no input from the stylus. Office Depot says without their extra cost warranty, they won't replace it. My experience with Palm is of an impenetrable maze. I don't have time to chase rabbits down every possible trail. HOW can I get my TX warranted or my money back??
 
You are going to have to contact Palm Customer Service - there is no way around it and work through the maze.

They will take you through their process and to the best of my knowledge here's what they will have you do:

Delete all "optional" software from the device and see if the conditions continue after it's clean.

Then they'll have you hard reset the device - and some other steps.
