You know when a friendship ends, its usually over one topic, and an argument. Well, that happened to me today. Over the war were fighting right now.
My friend wants to be a marine and fight the good fight, and she knows shes probably gonna die. I think the war were fighting right now is pointless, and never had good intentions. She says we deserve the oil we bought from them, and its okay we invaded their country over it. I think were greedy, and that it wasnt right to invade their country.
I dont think its worth loosing a friend, 'cause if she dies over seas, shes not gonna make any impact on the war. She thinks im telling her she cant follow her dreams, that I have no right, that im stupid, and dont know anything about whats going on.
Every male in my family has served, and im just tired of loosing ones I care about. So thats were im coming from, thats where shes coming from.
Now I ask you: Do you think the war is pointless, or do you think its worth dieing for? Explain your reasoning if you can
