I am an Afghan, and i know all we have contributed towards Britain is opium and Asylum Seekers, and when i hear British people saying that their troops should pull out, and its not their war, i ask myself, did we invite them to come and rescue us? No.
The Taliban turned Afghanistan in to a country that brutally subjugated everybody, especially women, destroyed world heritage sites was a safe haven for al Qaeda and was complicit in 9/11 and other acts of terrorism. but neither America nor Britain wanted to get involved, only when it crossed borders and affected their own people did they feel the need to go in and the funny part rescue the Afghan people, so who is stopping Britain from pulling out, No one, of course we need their help and with every british soldier dying or getting injured its like a member of my family is dying because they are fighting for our freedom, but we have lived without democracy and the basic needs of life, unlike you, how would you cope if your democray is taken away, if you cant go to work because you don't feel safe, if their is no jobs, no security, I think the British Presence is more to their Advantage than ours.
As British what is your point of view? i think Britian got involved and it can't pull away now, it should be there and maybe their could be a none military solution, that would benefit both our people.
