WAP is working but MSN won't connect

I've got MotoQ working with WAP and MMS. Thanks to all the good info on this website. However, i'm having issues with signing onto MSN Messenger. It acts as if there is no internet connection. MMS is working but for some reason it takes about 2 hours to receive a MMS. Anybody else experiencing these issues? WAP works fine on IE5 little slow for me but hey I'm patient.

mine never worked either on my 6700... i always used windows live that was already on my phone... that messenger is amazing lol it even gets nudges and vibrates lol
 
when had the verizon flash it never would connect... but even since i put in the sprint rom the live services started working... the first time i connected using wifi and the mess anger downloaded my pic on the messenger and my contacts... then after that i was able to connect with cricket wap... so i'm guessing cricket wap is to weak to download all the contacts and stuff... maybe when ev-do comes out it'll work flawlessly... also now google maps work too so theres something on the sprint rom that enables all this...
