Prl 3232? I wasn't aware that CricKet had one that high. I think the current one is 1039. And if you do a search you will see that it is already attached to a thread here.

With PST up and running, phone connected go to File > New > CDMA Preferred Roaming File click OK then click Read Data From Phone icon to get the data into PST. Then save the file with a name to Identify it. connect the other phone now go to File > Open > CDMA Preferred Roaming File > browse for the file you saved when it opens click the Write Data to Phone Icon and thats it. Also please post the PRL file here so it can benefit the entire forum. I myself am eager to try that roaming PRL out :yummy: and I'm sure XFF would be interested in it to update his collection of decoded PRL's on his website. No I can't *228 and get it, I don't have Travel Time. Thanks

every cricket account has travel time. some just have a $5 option also to get 30 minutes at a discounted rate. flashed phones *will not* be able to roam because of the way travel time is set up(dialing 2929 and such). this is the info that i was given if anyone else has exerienced this to not be accurate i would like to know. the more things that flashed phones can do the better.

So by what you're saying all I need to roam is that PRL and funRAB in my Flex Bucket? The only thing signing up for the $5/month thing does is allow you to get the PRL from *228? What about dialing 2929, does it work correctly as long as you have the roaming PRL? I got to get a roaming PRL to try this out cuz the only reason I never signed up is I don't need to roam that often and $5/month would be wasted.

roaming prl? seems a bit of a redundancy? since that's what the prl's purpose is to begin with. to provide a list or preferred networks and a list of acceptable roaming networks. as long as your phone is set to be able to roam (standard scan, automatic.. etc, anything but Home Only) then yeah all you need is funRAB in your flex bucket. the $5 option gives you 30 minutes a month at a discounted rate. $.16 instead of $.59 per minute. that's how it was explained to me anyways. i've never used it and i don't put any money in my flex bucket either to try it.

To respond to the last post, you obviously don't understand Cricket. Not every account has travel time: you HAVE to pay EXTRA for it! Flashed phones WILL do travel time, and there is a separate PRL to allow you to access the networks Cricket has roaming aggreements with. Otherwise you have a regional network in your home area. I have used my phone throughout the United States without problems. Now I am tring to get a Treo 600 to work the same as my 7135 Kyocera does which is ALSO a flashed phone. I have pulled the roaming PRL from my 7135; just waiting on data cable to put it in the Treo.

Can you please post that PRL for download so others can try it, decode it, edit it, or anything else to gain more info on what makes cricKet tick (or should I say chirp) :hehehe:

The standard PRL from cricKet contains only the SIRAB of cricKet's home market systems. It has no SIRAB from other carriers and therefore you cannot roam. The "roaming" PRL does contain SIRAB of other carriers and the cricKet home systems so when outside of a home system area you will be able to roam. Guess we should call the standard PRL a "Preferred Home List" since that is all it contains.

Bump... Does ne1 have that PRL for download???

Edit:
Why doesn't it show that i posted that wireless from my phone?? Jeez it took me long enough you think I would at least get some recognition :(
