...benchvice and special clamps? I already have one chosen. Now what someone told me was to just hold onto the front sight and use a crescent wrench to remove it. Thing is that sounds like a bad idea. I thought maybe holding the barrel itself. I know that the barrel needs to be supported, you can't just grab the handgaurd as you run the risk of twisting the barrel and putting the gas ports out of alignment. Or could I have 2 people remove it? One to hold the barrel and one to remove the flash supressor.
I also do not know if I can re use the crush washer or buy a new one and if so where.
So you put the front sight post in between your legs and used that to keep the barrel in place?
