...on my distortion voicings? Gear: Fender Super Champ XD, 50 watts. 16 distortion voicings
Epiphone G 400 guitar 2 humbuckers.... great rock and blues guitar.
Hey, I'm a beginner in the world of distortion. I've got a great Fender Super Champ XD with one 10' speaker amp. The amp goes up to 50 watts can surely and can really crank out the sound. But I want to be able to play at home. The problem is every time I use the voicings with high distortion, the sound becomes grating and I can't enjoy the crunch of the distortion. I was wondering if there are any pedals I can use that can bring down the sheer assault of the volume without compromising the heaviness of my distortion.
