venture financially? Need to know who can help and what resources I can get to start up.
 
There are Government run schemes in the UK that will send you on a business course and give you financial help and assistance. You will need to look them up on the internet. It is not means tested.
 
Get that book that the geek who advertises, shamelessly, on television and wears a funny suite promoted up until fairly recently- can't think of his name but there must be something to it otherwise his personality would have done him in years ago. "Write a novel, at government expense..." etc. Sounds pretty outlandish but there may be a valuable source of information in it since he has obviously done his homework.
 
generally starting your own business .... you do it on your own...
not many people get help at the start.. you have to prove you have a business worth doing..
if your plan is good and your strategy correct.. then you wont need any help... good business works.. bad business dos'nt.. simple
