(Just so we're clear I'm not referring to the college in Ithaca, but rather the one in Mount Vernon)
My situation in brief-
I suffered terribly from social anxiety disorder in high school which kept me out of extracurricular activities, dramatically impacted my studies, and left me with a 2.pathetic GPA.
I'm continuing to work to overcome my anxiety-and succeeding
I decided to attend community college for my first 2 years to give them a better GPA to look at when I transfer.
I'm in my 2nd semester at community college and have a 3.8 gpa. There isn't much of anything extracurricular to get involved in at the campus site I'm at.
I plan to major in art history (undecided about a minor). I also plan to become really involved in other activities! I'm very serious about that.
I really like what I've learned about Cornell, but I'm curious about the following...
-Based on what I've done up until this point, would they consider me?
-What could I do to increase my chances?
-If I'd make it, are there any sort of scholarships I could/should pursue?
I really have absolutely no idea where I stand.
