...amount.Considered a charge off? I am considering calling my credit card companies directly to negotiate lower payoff/settlement amounts. Would this be considered a "charge off" on my credit report? Would a charge off really be that bad considering the fact that my credit is already "bad" because of the non-payments on all of my credit cards for the last 3 months?
