you would get a lot less attn from the police if you built an electric bike.
But ,,,that would be no fun.
I dont have a 2 cycle bike but the ones i see on you tube videos are always loud.
I would be concerned with the amount of noise it made.
I did meet a guy once that a friction drive drive motor on his bike.
(Im sure you know what those are.
Mounted over the top of the rear wheel)
And the motor was covered buy something that looked like a box to carry stuff in. So it just like a regular bicycle and when he saw a cop he would just pretend to pedal it.
But as far as your question, I would want it to be quite as to be more steathy.
