Want to buy 2009 Toyota RAV4 Limited, 4x2, how much should I negotiate?

I've been searching for the LIMITED 2009 toyota RAV4, 4 cylinder, FWD (4x2) with leather seats. The MSRP on most of these I looked into are priced at $27,800 to $28,500. I want to negotiate $26,500 drive out price (this will include the tax title license). Am I asking too less?
 
Not at all.
You should be able to get the 4X4 for $26,000, or less, without even trying when you include the $500 rebate.

You should be able to get the 4X2 Limited for under $25K.

If you want the absolute best deal, invest $14 and get the consumer reports buyers guide. It basically tells you what the dealership paid for the vehicle.
