I want a phone that does the following:
GSM - I intend to use with current cingular (now AT&T) service
Bluetooth - It must have bluetooth
Clamshell - clamshell or slider is fine, it just can't have buttons exposed
Speakerphone - I would like it to have a speakerphone but not a deal breaker if it doesn't
I would like to emphasize the following:
Simplicity - The less 'extras' it has the better. I don't use camera features, I don't use music features, and I have no desire to watch video. I also prefer a simple button layout (I would be completely happy if it had only the number pad and a combination send/end button.)
The only things I EVER want to do with this phone are to talk to people and send occasional text messages (text only). The reason I say it must have bluetooth is for headset capability, and for syncing contacts with my computer.
My main goal is to find a simple phone without all the extras like camera, video, mp3 player and all that. I have my iPod for music/video on the go, and I have a film camera for taking pictures. I have absolutely 0 desire to have the features on my cell phone as well.
Any suggestions?
