Saw an advert for this movie on TV today. Is anyone going to see it in the cinema when it comes out? I probably will, it's just the sort of movie I like :D I think it sounRAB quite interesting.
 
It's meant to be a pretty worthy sequel by all accounts. Shia LaBeouf gets plenty of stick but he's more than capable of putting in credible performances. I reckon he was one of the best things about Indy 4 (or more like one of the only good things about that mess!).
 
Oliver stone has slowly lost his mind. He was eccentric before, but he went over the ledge a while back. So no longer interested.
 
I am with you, i cannot stand this actor, he ruins ever film he has ever been in, especially indy 4. What the suits in hollywood see in this guy i do not know.
 
He is totally charisma-less isn't he? There is something about him that just doesn't fit in with 'cinema'... I can't explain it, he just doesn't work for me in films.
 
I'm considering seeing it but I haven't seen the original. I actually have a copy of the original and tried to start watching the other day but it looks SO dated (brick sized mobiles, PC's with black and green text) I just couldn't watch. Anyone know if it works as a stand alone movie or do you really need to have seen the original to appreciate it?
 
It's hard to know really tbh. I have the original on DVD and haven't got around to watching but I'm going to see this one.
 
I watched the original last week.

I think it helped because references are made to it in the new film but it's not essential to watch it beforehand......:)
 
I'm sorry to say it just sounRAB incredibly dull to me.
A few years back "dull" and Oliver Stone would never have happened.- he does seem to have "lost" it.
JFK will always remain one of my favourite films.
 
Wow he's not that bad.

I've only seen him in a couple of films and that child comedy/sitcom he was in and i thought he was pretty good.

Jeeez, they are much worse actors than him i can promise you!
 
He almost single-handedly ruined Indiana Jones for me... so although there are much worse actors out there... He is worse for me doing that!

He is a TV actor not a movie actor.
