So my cousins and I saw Walk The Line. They loved it of course, who wouldn't? :sigh:

My favourite scene .. I have lots but I think I really like the scene where June and Johnny are fishing and any scene of them singing together.

I've seen this movie so many times it can't be healthy :lol:

What's so great about this film is that I can watch it over and over again and still tear up at the end. Joaquin and Reese had amazing chemistry and it really showed on screen.

Your sig is amazing. I always tear up when he asks and she shakes her so he begs her and she says yes, you know she REALLY wanted to say yes. :love: It's so beautiful.

My favorite scenes? Wow, so many! I love when she goes to the theater to rehearse and everyone is drunk. She tells Johnny off and after that he starts getting more serious about everything, including his love for her. :sigh:

ETA: The soundtrack is good! I'm not really a fan of country music, but I'll listen to this.
 
I totally ship June and John. June understood John in a way that nobody could... she brought out the better in him, helped him live again.

I finally have the Deluxe DVD :yay: I'm SO happy. I watched it with my mom last night and she loved it... so worth buying ;)

Anyways sorry you're going through finals, I hate them, but I hope there going good ;) And I like the audition scene also and I like the part of " one song that's gonna sum you up " for some reason that line gets me. I think joaquin sounds good too and I like the proposal scene and that end where she finally says yes, it makes me smile lol.

My favorite scene would have to be the audition scene when they are singing the gospel! Johnny looks so proud, like he thinks the audition is going perfect.... :lol: Awwww.. Then, BAM! Excuse me, could you play something else? Ouch.

I also love when Joaquin sings "Ring of Fire", well, part of it. He sounds good! :D
 
Really? I thought John was trying sooo hard to not be like his father that in some cases it made him worse. But June saw all the good not even John saw in himself so I wanted them to be together, because they were better as a couple and happier.
 
i really enjoyed the music but i find it hard to want june and john to get togehter. john was a pig for a lot of the movie... but i guess he was just following his heart.

What made me think of this thread was that I recently saw a commercial for Rendition, Reese's new movie. I have to say that for me, after WTL, nobody will ever play her husband/love interest convincingly unless it's Joaquin. I know apparently she and Jake are dating in RL, but it doesn't matter. On screen, nobody does it like JP and Reese.

Also, I've been listening to the soundtrack and boy, it NEVER EVER gets old.

I completley love this movie and I was very surprised by it the first time I ever seen it and like Watch this smilie; walk the line has become one of my all time favourite movies.

I'm new here to FF (name is Rachael) but I just wanted to say that I love the movie Walk the Line ;)
I loved Joaquin and Reese in it and everybody else. I even went and bought that soundtrack, and ha, I love Jackson to. Anyways, just wanted to say hi and that I love Walk the Line

So I went to the stores today to buy the DVD, I wanted the Deluxe version with 2 discs but they didn't have it yet, so I have to wait 'til it comes in :sigh: I'm going out to town tonight though, so I'm gonna look there too. I so hope to find it! :pinkie:
