Wal-Mart's betta fish?

This isn't much of a question, but today I was at my local Wal-Mart and gravitated towards the fish section. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw some male bettas in tanks instead of little cups! They were all separated. I was truly amazed.

Does you local Wal-Mart/fish provider do this? What do you think about this? I think it's great that they're giving them more space to move around in!
Oh, I'm not planning on buying any. I have a happy little Crowntail betta right here at home. (:

I just thought it was fantastic that they didn't have them in those stupid little cups I usually see them in.

I've seen it done different ways at Walmarts. Local one has them in rather large cups (compared to other places). I've also seen them in breeder nets inside the tanks. And again, I've seen them in tanks, but the fish they were in with were big fin nippers and would attack them, therefore killing the betta.

well, are u considering to buy the betta fish? i think it's pretty nice that they are keeping bettas in tanks, but walmart isnt a great place to buy quality fish if ur planning to buy it
