Wal-mart Pre paid VISA CARD?

I had a bad banking experiance as of late and cancelled my account and direct deposit. I have bee paying all my bills on-line using my visa debit card. I have to recieve my next Paycheck in paper form next week and was wondering if I purchased the WAL-MART pre paid VISA CARD, will i be able to pay bills online and use an ATM like I've been so used to. It will take over 2 weeks to get a new Bank debit card so I find that this may be the thing until then. I do not mean the VISA gift card. from WAL-MART/ I was told that at W/M you can take in a check (Military) and they will put what ever amount you request on it for a fee of a few $$$ and that is it . Who knows about this ???? I sure don't
