So on Wed. night at arouond 2 am I head to walmart to see if anyone was there. I didn't think anyone would be there but when I arrived I saw 7 people. So I decide to wait and I was the 8th person in line. This wait was very fucking miserable. It was 30 degrees outside and I was so fucking cold that my feet were numb. I think I passed out for about an hour because of the cold. Well more people come and at around 6 o clock there was about 30 people or more. This walmart only had 14 systems and the poor fuckers after 14 still waited in line even though we told them they wouldn't get any

Anyways I bought Zelda and I just completed the Forest Temple. Pretty good game. It's taking me a while to get used to the controles. The game so far is really good. It took me like 2.5 hours to complete the Forest Temple.
I don't really like wii sports too much. Tennis was fun for like 30 minutes but now I am tired of it. Not interested in the other sports.

So far though I am really impressed by the wii. The wiimote is pretty cool. It's alot easier to use it than I had expected. I also like how every time you go over something it rumbles. The wiimote and nunchuck are not gimicky at all. to all of you who say it is.

I don't think the new controls are a gimick I just wonder if people will stick with it after the honeymoon is over.

I REALLY want to pick one up but just not sold yet.

How long is the honeymoon? You can just sit in a chair and play the games with the controllers... But it also allows for you to really get into it in parts of the games.

I would say the honeymoon is sometime in the Spring when we see what is coming down the pipe for Nintendo and if users are sticking with it.

Again I think it is a great thing but just nervous to see if it sticks.

No real alternative to me, My Sega got more play than my PS2 in the last 3 or so years. Controllers became lame. this bring console gaming back for me.

nintendo has the knowledge and ability to come up with whatever is needed if there isn't much developer support from third parties. and third party developers should be willing to get in on this since the user base is growing rapidly.

even if it ends up being a bunch of sports games and party games from other developers, and good one player games from nintendo (zelda, mario, metroid), i'd still be happy to own a wii. that's a worst case scenario though

Sounds like we have forgotten the Gamecube already

Before you come back and say the Wii is nothing like the Gamecube because of the install base that doesn't mean that the users will stay. Many users have picked up a Wii that haven't been gamers.....will we see games that keep them playing? Will people who own more then one console continue to play the Wii? These are things that only time will tell.

they had no innovative titles. I played through Resistance and am now back playing GOW on my 360. I'd be playing Zelda if I could get a fucking wii though.
