I have defaulted on my student loans due to lack of work. I do have a job, but i work 3-10hrs per week at low wages. How much can they take from that? Also, I have heard that if they want to garnish wages, they have to take me to court. Is this true?
What i don't get is, how they can take a precentage off of practically nothing? How do they expect someone to live. I barely scrape by and I have help from family!
