Judging from the trailer, I thought this anime is all comedy.
However, the first episode gave me a totally different impression. Perhaps this is going to be one hell of a dramatic anime? >.>;

Episode 01

I thought the first episode was good. A little of action showing off her fox powers, good animation, decent artwork. I think this is going to be my replacement for "Spice & Wolf". Hehehe...it has a bit of an "Inukami" flavor going on, with less fanservice.

Looking at the image implies this is an "Spice & Wolf" clone...luckily the trailer proved me wrong, but it still looks ....strange

EH...not bad. I'll continue with this for a bit, just to see where it goes. Being based off light novels, I'm expected good if not great things from the writing. Anything less is second best.

Episode 1 just threw me for a loop. I was constantly thinking 'What the hell is going on? Wood ki? Water ki?'. Nevertheless, its a good Fantasy based anime if they explained everything properly.

Kugen's appearance, her arrogance, her way of talking - they all remind me of Horo. I guess the Wolf trend is getting bigger after Spice and Wolf, with Kanokon and Wagaya no Oinarisama doing it as well.

I guess not many people follow this series...?

I think it's alright. not the best but slightly interesting so far. Kuu-chan is really cute when her hears pop up in her female form. in ep 6 at the cake buffet.

Episode 06

The cake buffet looked delicious...come to think of it i've never been to one. I think after that much sugar i'd probably explode. The next episode looks exciting to me, but i still like this series. It has an Inukami/Spice & Wolf charm to it.

I have actually been following this series since before it was made into an anime. I first came across it back when they recently released the 3rd light novel, they are now up to the 7th, and as far as I know, final novel.

On a side note they did a like action of this series.

ooo live action? same name? time to search for it... lol

I sorta like live-action adaptations. it's interesting to see how they would execute it.

I really like the series so far but i am bothered that no real plot has appeared yet. Kiatei since u have read the manga maybe u can tell me if a decent plot will form anytime soon.

I said I have been following it because I was hoping they would make an anime and because I liked the artwork mainly. I don't know Japanese so it like browsing the pages for the pictures. But what what I've read on other forums the novels plotline was just supposed to appeal to boys so it could just be overly dull. But from what I can tell the anime follows the novels' storyline if there is one.

say what? hmmm, looks like I'll have one less hr of playing Mana Khemia tonight... gotta watch this AND kanokon 9.... hehe. Or maybe I'll just sleep 1 less hr... yeah... sleep's overrated anyways. that's what coffee is for. :-)
