Wacom tablet + Office? Use Intuos4 with word 2007 just like Bamboo Fun?

I'd like to buy an Intuos4 but I want to use it with word 2007. Please, someone help me!
Only Wacom Bamboo can be used with Office software?
Can I use the "inking" function in word 2007 even if I don't have a pen tablet?
(Sorry for my english and for asking too much)
