W810i, Should I buy?

It's been a long time, and after deciding that i couldn't handle that volume issue on the d807 i decided on the SE w810i. I'm just trying to see if there is anything i should watch out for, I'm getting it from cingular, so it will be branded.

I also had a few questions

What's the best Screen protector?
Can you set a picture you have taken as your background?

The w810i would be a great choice if your getting a phone from Cingular. For screen protectors I recommend Clarivue or Martin Fields. And yes you can set pictures you taken from the camera as your background wallpaper.
