Hi,

I just got my SE W810 wednesday, so of course I still don't know much about it but I'm learning. Its a pretty awesome phone. I'm already recharging it though from its initial charge in just one day... hopefully thats just because I used it alot since I got it! *prays it has a good battery life*

Anyway theres a few things that I don't think are answered in the book and I would appreciate your help.

1. Just to see how it was, I went to "messages" on the menu, "im" and clicked AIM. Logged on, cool, then clicked "sign off". I wanted to log on to either MSN or Yahoo to see what they were like on the phone but it won't let me select them. I can arrow through them and it highlights them but if I stop on MSN or Yahoo! and hit "select" it jumps back up and highlights AIM. I can still get into AIM just fine, but it won't go into the others. Why and how can I log onto one of them???

2. Is there a way to change the menu 'style' to bars instead of little icons all on one screen?

3. Is there a button I can push to exit all layers and return to the main screen, instead of having to hit "back" several times?

4. Once I'm in Phone Mode, which always happens because I turned off the start up menu, is there a way to get to Music Only mode or 'flight mode' through the menu?

5. The book says that by going to menu > settings ... I can find something that says "update service", I've looked through all the tabs in this area and don't see ANYthing that says anything about updating...I know I probably don't need to yet, but I wanted to know how to do this for the future.

I still have a lot to learn, but the phone seems to be pretty awesome. And really #1 is the only "problem" I'm having...so far...

THANKS!!! in advance!

ok...no responses here...called Sony Ericsson customer service and got all my questions answered except for #1 which sucks since its the one I'm having an actual problem with. Guess I'll see if AT&T can help, but I doubt it *sigh*
