W810 or W660? or something else?

Hey mates:),

Hello to everyone. I have just registered here because i need some help
from the experts. I would like to buy a sony ericsson walkman phone, up to 260 E/$. Right now
i am between w810 and w660...but i also saw the s500...i am really confused
could you help me ????

Hello and welcome to CPF.

If music playback is your main concern, go with the Walkman phones. The media player on non Walkman SE phones are not as intuitive.
 
so confused about why sonyericsson pushes so many similar cell phones. i mean their features are so similar to each other, or this is its market stratage to pack the marcket with all SE phones?:confused:
There are only few differences between W810i, W660i, S500.
W810i not support 3G, bluetooth A2DP, Class 10 EDGE, W660i support UMTS and video call, A2DP, don't support EDGE, S500 lacks 3G, FM radio, but a little improvement in screen, 2" QVGA screen. Other features are same, like music playing, 2mega camera(only w810i's camera support autofocus and flash among the three), JAVA games,
since you focus in music, i suggest you choose w660i, cause it supports both A2DP and FM radio. sigh, choose all up to you now
 
Every phone manufacturer does that to make profit. Motorola does that with its RAZRs, Samsung with its vast amount of sliders, Nokia with its variants of N Series phones.
