W580i retrieving info from broken phone

Hi Iam a newbie, I have a w580i, was replaced twice, this one was fine but then screen starting flickering, then just went black, (all other functions, i.e sound etc worked) I brought a new screen but no luck, so I put it for repair (market stall), they first said screen, then membrane, then ribbon after about 2 months with my phone they then reckoned water damage. (it has never been dropped in any water or had any splashes) I have the handset back now but my contact numbers are on phone not my sim. Is there any way I can get my info ( contacts and texts) off my mobile, I have all my music and photos backed up on my pc, but not my contacts. Also I have a memory card in my mobile, can anyone tell me what will be stored on this? Bar music and pics will it have stored any of my messages or contacts, as I put the mem card into my sisters phone and nothing came up? My mobile had hundreds of messages and I cant see the phone memory itself could hold all these?! and would it be possible to have my mobile memory/internals with all the stuff on put into another handset as a way to get my stuff? Sorry tried to explain as best as I can, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou
 
ok, update, I had the pc suite disc but my pc would not install, so I downloaded one from cnet, after d/loading usb flash drivers pc suite works a treat, have managed to access phone info, got all my info, contacts and even texts! Even transferred back up copy of everything on the phone to my pc aswell incl the texts. But thanks for looking at the thread anyway. :)
