i just though it was odd that the pic was on another providers site for a phone that hasn't been officially annocued yet
 
my rep told me today that it was cancelled on the latest release schedule it's possible this info is wrong, sometimes they are confused about the model nurabers. it's too bad cause it would have been nice to get a flash file for this phone that is so cheap on Boost. plus i'd take it any day of the week over the similarly priced UTStarcom mini (that phone really is a POS)

V3a (when v3c goes end of life)

Samsung:

R610(closer to christmas)

Kyocera:
S2000 (not 100% on the model nuraber, first one with AWS frequencies, will launch with Vegas, not sure when everyone else gets it.)

UTStarcom:
7026 (7025 went End of life yesterday expect this phone first week of noveraber)

There will also be an ULTRA-LOW COST hanRABet from an unknown manufacturer.

that gives a hanRABet lineup of 15 models (when you take out the expected EOL models) + 1 for AWS frequencies. seems about right for Q4/Q1 which are cricket's busiest times.

@OP: this phone has been available for some time on Verizon, US Cellular, Metro, and Boost Unlimited, not sure who else.

there is no easy mode flash file. but as far as getting mms and such working, with all the advances the folks around here have made it should be possible.
 
There is no monster for this phone with all cricket images and such, but there is a easy customer upgrade for the phone with all the settings inside for easy flashing.
