Hello.
Moving to VZ from ATT (for approx last 15 yrs).
Have a Nokia E63 on ATT now, and want a smart phone for VZ.
Considering 1) Droid, 2) Droid Eris, 3) Any Blackberry...4) anything else?
I am a FREAK about reception and sound quality (hard of hearing and I go to very remote places...why I'm leaving ATT).
-I'm fine with the Android OS (in general)...doesn't blow me away, but its ok.
-I had a Blackberry ONCE, about 7 yrs ago on ATT, and the sound quality was HORRID.
-Have BB's gotten better? How is the reception?
-What about both on the two Droids?
-Any other midrange phone I should consider?
Any help is appreciated...Hope that was detailed enough...(Oh, and I'm ok w/ either 'real' keys or 'virtual' KB.)
edit to add:
Finally, I'm not above getting a 'decent' smartphone (in terms of reception) and then buying a secondary feature phone to switch to when needed for BETTER reception. If this is a better idea, what feature phone would work for that?
Thanks,
JD
