VX9100 Paramtable1 Reverts back

Do I have to do anything special for the "Paramtable1" modifications to stick on a VX9100 or VX8550. I am overwriting the "Paramtable1" with Bitpim, but as soon as I reboot the phone, the settings which have been changed seem to be a hybrid of Verizon's settings, and the modifications I made. What am I missing?
 
No Reverting is normal. as long as it write to the phone you are fine

Try writing the paramtable again after lg download

This is how i usually have to do it
